Local Lifestyle

Things to Do

Kamaole Beach Park I, II, III (called Kam I, Kam II, and Kam II by the locals) is a set of three connecting beaches, each offering a different landscape. Kam I has the largest beach, Kam II offers volleyball courts and Kam III is the “party beach,” perfect for hosting outdoor birthday parties with access to a barbeque and a large grassy lawn. Each beach has lifeguards on duty with bathhouses on site. 

Another gorgeous beach option is Wailea Beach Walk, a paved path along Wailea’s sugar-white beaches. The path is about 1.5 miles one-way and makes for the perfect morning stroll or a quick run in the afternoon sun. Maluaka Beach, known as the ideal Maui beach, offers some of the best snorkeling spots along the coast. Residents are joined by an abundance of turtle visitors and have affectionately named this area “Turtle Town.”
